Embracing our Inner G.L.O.W.

It took me years to finally find my way. I mean, I was a child of the late 60’s and had parents that were from an older generation. I remember being a young girl when “Women’s Lib” was big. My Mother taught my Sister and I grace and balance as young girl’s by walking with books on our heads and the afternoon tea that my Mom and I would have. She also told me that ladies always stuck their pinkies out when they sipped. We were “groomed” to be housewives by serving tea and finger sandwiches at a Monastery up the hill from us, cooking and baking, and pressing my Dad’s shirts.
